Sign up to media training We are offering free training to parent carers interested in sharing their story in the media. We are particularly keen to offer training to parents who are not able to access their young person’s Child Trust Fund /Junir ISA account because they lack mental capacity. If you have a child aged 15-20 unable to access their Child Trust Fund and you are interested in doing the training, please complete the details below and press SUBMIT at end of page. We are particularly interested in hearing from: Parents who have a young person with a learning disability aged 15-20 who are not able to access their child’s Child Trust Fund money, because they are with a provider who won’t give access without going through the Court of Protection process. Parents who have struggled to use the Court of Protection process to access their child’s Chid Trust Fund. Parents who have been put off the Court of Protection process due to the complexity or the costs of needing a GP letter or help from a solicitor. Parents who have found it difficult to save for their child’s future because of the difficulty accessing Child Trust Funds and Junior ISAs for young people with a learning disability.
